(a) to (c) Yes, Sir. Government has received a memorandum from All India State Bank of
Indore Officers` Co-ordination Cord Commiittee, inter-alia, requesting for making State Bank of
Indore an independent public sector bank. State Bank of Indore is already a public sector
bank governed by State Bank of India (Subsidiary Banks) Act, 1959. There is no proposal under
consideration of the Government to bring it out of the purview of the above statute.
