(a) whether the Government provide funds under commissioned programmes for
telecasting of serials on Doordarshan;
(b) if so, the procedure and criteria adopted to provide funds under commissioned
programmes; and
(c) the details of amount provided during the last three years in this regard?

(b): Producers of the commissioned programmes are provided funds keeping in view the
budget details submitted by them alongwith the proposals and after scrutiny/approval of
the same by the Costing Committee of Doordarshan.
