(a) whether the Government has any proposal to establish mega solar power plants in naxal hit areas in near future;
(b) if so, the details thereof especially in Jamui district of Bihar;
(c) if not, the reasons therefor; and
(d) the details of plan outlay and implementation procedure for any such proposal in near future?

(a) to (c) The State Government of Andhra Pradesh has reported development of Ultra Mega solar parks in left wing extremist Mandals of Nambulapula Kunta (1000 MW) and Ramagiri (160 MW) in Ananthapuramu District.
This Ministry has not received any proposal from State Government of Bihar for setting up any solar park in Jamui district of Bihar.
(d) The Government provides Central Financial Assistance @ Rs. 20 Lakh per MW for development of Ultra Mega Solar Power Projects and Mega Solar Parks across the country including in Naxal hit areas. State Governments are required to submit project proposals indicating land availability etc. as per scheme for consideration of the Central Government for approval.
