(a) & (b): No Madam, there is no such scheme. However, Government of India is providing foodgrains under National Food Security Act (NFSA) for distribution to the eligible beneficiaries @ 5 kg per person and @ 35 kg per family for Antodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) families per month at highly subsidized prices of Re.1/-, Rs.2/- and Rs.3/- per kg for coarse grains, wheat and rice respectively in 11 States/ Union tarritories (UTs). All other States/UTs who have not implemented NFSA so far are being provided foodgrains @ 35 kg per family per month for Below Poverty Line (BPL) including Antodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) families.
