(a) whether the ‘NARI Portal’ and ‘e-SAMVAD’ are playing important role in empowerment of needy women;
(b) if so, the details thereof the manner in which the said portals have helped women; and
(c) the steps taken by the Government to ensure country wide access of these portals?

(a) to (c) : National Repository of Information For Women (NARI) Portal was launched on 2nd January 2018 to provide the information about the government schemes and legislations for women and to provide links to the Ministries, Departments and autonomous bodies offering these on one platform. The e-Samvad portal was launched to provide a platform for NGOs and the civil society for feedback, suggestions etc.
Information about and links to various government schemes and benefits for women are also available on various other Government websites and online facilities, including the website of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, the UMANG app etc.
