(a), (b) & (c): Ministry of Non-conventional Energy Sources is implementing a scheme for the Development and Up-gradation of Water mills. The scheme is applicable for the entire country. As part of this scheme, a promotional incentive of up to Rs.30,000 for water mills with mechanical output and up to Rs.60,000 for water mills with electrical output or both mechanical & electrical outputs is being provided. A target of installing/ upgrading 200 water mills has been fixed for the year 2002-03.
