(a) whether any scheme for developing a model hospital had been announced by the Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC);
(b) if so, the hospital in respect of which the proposal to declare it as a model hospital had been sent by the Government of Madhya Pradesh;
(c) the action taken by ESIC in this regard; and
(d) by when the final decision is likely to be taken in this regard?

(a): Yes, Sir.
(b) to (d): The ESI Corporation is developing the ESI Hospital Nagda into a model hospital. As per the existing policy, ESI Corporation is running only one model hospital in each State and it has not been possible to accede to the request of the Government of Madhya Pradesh to develop ESI Hospital at Indore also into another model hospital.
