Question : HYDRO ELECTRIC PROJECTS IN J K



(a) the project-wise generation capacity of hydro electric projects run by National Hydro Power Corporation Limited (NHPC) in the country and revenue earned by the Corporation;

(b) the project-wise details of NHPC projects operated in Jammu & Kashmir with their cost of construction, generation of power and the revenue earned so far by each one of them;

(c) whether the Government of Jammu & Kashmir has made any formal request to the Union Government for the return of the Hydel projects that have earned more than their investment cost or for the re-negotiation of terms and conditions with the NHPC; and

(d) if so, the details thereof along with the reaction of the Union Government thereto?

(a) :Details of Power Stations under Operation and the revenue earned by the NHPC Limited upto 2013-14 is as under:-
