(a) As on 15th August, 2019, at the time of launch of Jal Jeevan Mission, in Odisha, out of 85.67 lakh rural households, 3.11 lakh households (3.74%) had piped water connections. In the past 22 months, 23.38 lakh households have been provided tap water connections thus increasing the tap water supply to26.49 lakh households (30.93%). The district-wise details of households which have been provided with tap water connection is at Annex–I.
(b) The details of Central fund allocated to Odisha under Jal Jeevan Mission in 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22, are as under:
