Question : UDAN Scheme in Maharashtra

(a) the details of the airports identified/proposed under UDAN scheme for domestic travel in Maharashtra;
(b) the details of the airports which are ready for operation and airports which are proposed to be developed in the State; and
(c) the time by which work related to Belora airport located in Amravati Parliamentary Constituency of Maharashtra is likely to be completed?

(a) to (b): Under the UDAN scheme, the unserved & underserved airports/airstrips, namely, Jalgaon, Kolhapur, Sholapur, Ozar (Nasik), Nanded, Amravati, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri and Gondia are identified/awarded in the state of Maharashtra to operate Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) flights. ;
The RCS flight operations from the Jalgaon, Kolhapur, Ozar (Nasik), Nanded and Sindhudurg airports have already commenced after the readiness of these airports under UDAN. ;

(c) Amravati Airport belongs to State Government. Development of this Airport is undertaken by the Government of Maharashtra.
