(a) The details of posts of SCs/STs currently lying vacant in Oil India Limited (OIL) and the time by which they are likely to be filled; and
(b) The details of the appointments made and the promotions in NRL, Oil India Limited during the last three years?

(a) Oil India Limited(OIL) has informed that currently 36 vacancies in SC category and 57 vacancies in ST category are lying vacant in OIL. Vacancies are notified/filled as per recruitment plans and special drives are also conducted for recruiting SC/ST candidates.
(b) OIL has reported that it has made 77 appointments in SC category and 95 in ST category during last three years. OIL has further reported that it has given promotion to 96 SC category and 80 to ST category employees during the last three years.
Numaligarh Refinery Limited(NRL) has reported that it has made 15 appointments in SC category and 9 in ST category during the last three years. NRL has also reported that it has made 49 promotions in SC category and 30 in ST category during last three years.
