Question : Work Demand

(a) the details of the difference between work demanded and work provided in each State;

(b) whether all these families have been provided with unemployment allowances;

(c) the details of the current status of delayed payments, compensation and unemployment allowance provided in each State;

(d) the details of the drought-proofing and water conservation works that have been undertaken in each State; and

(e) the number of drought-proofing and water conservation works that have been completed out of the total number of such works undertaken?

(a): As per the Management Information System (MIS), State/UT-wise details of employment demanded by households and employment offered to households during the FY 2018-19 under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) is given at Annexure-I.

(b) &(c): As per Management Information System (MIS), State/UT-wise details of delay compensation paid and unemployment allowance in the FY 2018-19 under MGNREGS is given at Annexure-II.

(d) & (e): As per Management Information System (MIS), State/UT-wise details drought proofing and water conservation & water harvesting works undertaken under MGNREGS in the FY 2018-19 is given at Annexure-III.
