(a)to(c):The Government in the Budget of 2014-15 has announced a project by the name ‘Jal Marg Vikas’ for the development of Allahabad- Haldia stretch of river Ganga for commercial navigation . The project is expected to be completed in six years time at an estimated cost of Rs. 4200 crore. There is no scheme by the name of “Pradhanmantri Jal Marg Yojana” under implementation by the Government.
