(b) The number of industries out of them owned by private companies in each State; and
(c) the funds provided to each State by the Union Government for the development of industries during each of the last three years?

(a) : The total number of industries set up in the non-SSI sector in various States/Union Territories since August,1991 till January,2001 in terms of Industrial Entrepreneur Memoranda implemented and Industrial licenses issued is at Annexure-I
(b) : Out of the 5077 units set up since August,1991 till January,2001 in the Non-SSI Sector, about 84% are privately owned units.
(c) : The plan funds allocated to each State/Union Territory by the Union Government for the development of `industry and mineral` sector during last three years is at Annexure-II.
