(a) the details and the present status of representations received
by the Railways for laying of new railway lines in the State of
Rajasthan including Sanchore-Jalore section;
(b) the steps taken/being taken thereon by the Railways; and
(c) the time by which the pending proposals are likely to be
disposed of by the Railways?

(a) to (c): Representations demanding new lines in Rajasthan are
received and surveys for some of the demands are sanctioned. No
details of such representations are maintained. No survey for
Sanchore-Jalore new line has been sanctioned.
Decision is taken on completed surveys/proposals after completing
the prescribed procedure. No time limit can be prescribed for disposal
of such proposals.
