(a) Archaeological Survey of India has a Web Portal for “Must See Indian Heritage” providing information on these monuments under Archaeological Survey of India.
(b) List of monuments/ sites of national importance inscribed on the World Heritage List of UNESCO is at Annexure.
(c) Government of Telangana has submitted the proposal of recognition of Ramappa Temple at Alampur for inscription in the World Heritage List and a proposal on serial nomination of ‘Fort and Monuments of the Deccan Sultanate’ has been received from the state Govts. of Karnataka and Telangana. The dossier with respect to these monuments has been submitted to World Heritage Centre.
(d) & (e) Archaeological Survey of India undertake regular conservation, preservation and annual maintenance of the monuments/sites declared as of national importance. Expenditure incurred during last three years and provision for current year is as under:
