(a) whether the Government propose to lay a gas pipeline from Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh to Goa for transportation and marketing of the gas discovered in the Krishna-Godavari basin;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) The target for completion of the project?

(a)&(b) No, Sir. However, M/s Gas Transportation and Infrastructure Company Limited (GTICL) a company promoted by Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) propose to lay pipeline from Kakinada-Hyderabad-Goa for which process of acquisition of land under Petroleum & Mineral Pipeline (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 is on.
(c) Depending on various statutory clearances, tentatively the project may be completed by the year 2005-06.
