(a)&(b) Yes, Sir. In its Annual Report for the year 1996- 97, the National Commission for Women had recommended that ‘for increasing employment opportunities for women, 30 percent jobs/posts should be reserved for women in Central and State Governments as well as in public undertakings’.

(c) No, Sir.

(d) Does not arise.
