Question : DISPOSAL OF OLD STOCK OF WHEAT



(a) the quantum of wheat, rice and sugar lying in the FCI godowns as on March, 2000 with breakup as procured two years to five years back and procured more than five years back;

(b) the additional economic burden on this account;

(c) whether the said foodgrains are not fit for human consumption; and

(d) if so, the policy chalked out to dispose of the old stock of foodgrains?
