STATEMENT REFFERED TO IN REPLY TO PARTS (a) TO (d) OF UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 5025 DATED 26.08.2010 BY SHRI JEETENDRA SINGH BUNDELA REGARDING LALITPUR-SINGRAULI RAILWAY PROJECT.

(a) & (b): On Lalitpur-Satna, Mahoba-Khajuraho and Rewa-Singrauli new line, Mahoba to Khajuraho (65 km) has been completed. Lalitpur-Udaipura (32 Km) is targeted for completion during 2010-11. The work is being progressed as per the availability of resources. An outlay of Rs. 100 crore has been provided for the work during 2010-11.

(c) & (d): No, Madam. Survey for alternative alignment avoiding Gangau Sanctuary has been taken up.
