(a)to(c): Yes, Sir. Central Health Service (CHS) consists
of four sub-cadres namely, Teaching Specialist, Non-Teaching
Specialist, Public Health Specialist and General Duty
Medical Officers. The recruitment, functions and annual
assessment criteria of these sub-cadres is at Annexure.
(d): The seniority of officers of Teaching specialist sub-
cadre are prepared speciality-wise up to the level of
Professors and common seniority is prepared at the level of
Senior Administrative Grade i.e. Director-Professors.
(e)&(f): The seniority of members of Central Health Service
is determined in accordance with the provisions of Rule 9 of
the Central Health Service Rules, 1996. These rules do not
provide for preparation of seniority list of officers
annually.
