Question : One-Stop-Centres

(a) whether One-Stop-Centres has been setup in Kottayam district of Kerala, if so, the details thereof;
(b) the total funds allocated, released, sanctioned and utilised under the said scheme along with the percentage of funds utilised by it;
(c) whether the Government has proposed to upgrade or introduce a new scheme to improve the condition of women affected by violence of any kind under One-Stop-Centre; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) & (b): One Stop Centre (OSC) at Kottayam district of Kerala has been approved under One Stop Centre Scheme. An amount of Rs.6,91,075/- has been sanctioned and released for setting up of OSC and Rs.24,34,686/- has also been released to Kottayam district for construction of the OSC building during the year 2018-19.

(c) & (d): Since the OSC Scheme is a comprehensive scheme which provide for a range of services for violence affected women including police facilitation, legal counselling, psycho-social counselling, medical aid and temporary shelter in an integrated manner under one roof to women affected by violence, Government is currently not considering to upgrade or introduce a new scheme.
