(a) The norms for construction of bypasses are traffic volume, divertable traffic, construction cost and consequent techno-economic viability.

(b) & (c) A statement is enclosed.

(d) Provision for feasibility study/detailed engineering for construction of Ranchi Bypass amounting to Rs. 1.00 Crore exists in the Annual Plan 2000-2001. Estimate for the same will be examined for sanction after its receipt from the State Government.
