(a) whether several officers of Bureau of India Standard Ahmedabad are not getting their salary for the last four months;
(b) if so, the reasons therefor; and
(c) the time by which the officers/employees of BIS, Ahmedabad are likely to be paid their salaries at the earliest ?

(a) to (c): No, Sir. All the officers in Ahmedabad Branch
Office of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) are getting their
salary regularly except in the case of one officer whose
salary for the month of September, 2002 to 20th February,
2003 has been withheld on account of unauthorized absence
from duty which is yet to be regularized.
