Will the Minister of URBAN DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:
(a) whether a number of houses have been constructed illegally at Sainik Farms in Delhi;
(b) if so, the details thereof along with the details of the persons who have illegally constructed these houses;
(c) whether the Government has not taken any action on these illegally constructed houses; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor along with the steps likely to be taken in this regard?

(a)to(d): Powers and functions related to action against illegal constructions in Sainik Farms are under the jurisdiction of South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) which has to exercise such powers and functions under the direction and control of Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi. SDMC has informed that Sainik Farms is an unauthorised colony and that it has taken 157 demolition actions in the last two years in this colony against unauthorised repairs, renovations and minor constructions.
