(a) to (c): At present there is no proposal to set up a food
processing related professional educational institution in the
North Eastern region by this ministry. However, for capacity
building the ministry assists in setting up of Food Processing &
Training Centres, Entrepreneurship Development Programmes, and
creation of infrastructure for taking up Degree/ Diploma courses
for the Food Processing sector.
