Question : Central Air-conditioning for Offices

(a) whether the various Central Government offices including the Ministry buildings are being made centrally air conditioned and if so, the details of buildings where such work is going on or is to be carried out soon;

(b) the total cost involved in this exercise and the details of the company carrying out this work; and

(c) if the timeline by which the work is likely to be completed?

(a) Existing Central Government Office buildings including Ministry buildings are not being made / planned to be made centrally air conditioned by Central Public Works Department.

(b) & (c) Do not arise.
