(a): The Khadi. and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is implementing the rural Employment Generation Programme (REGP) in all Districts of Orissa and Bihar. Under this programme, financial assistance is provided to create employment by setting up Khadi and Village Industrial Units such as Pottery, Lime, Agarbatti, HMP, Shellac, Bamboo and Cane, Gums, & Resin, Bee-keeping, Ghani Oil, Soap etc.
The performance made during the years 1996-97, 1997-98 and 1998-99 has been as follows:
