(a) the programmes being run by the Government toconnect tribal youths to vocational education in all theStates including Haryana, Assam and other North-EasternStates;
(b) the details of the funds allocated for these programmes State-wise;
(c) the number of tribal youths who have acquired vocational education by participating in these programmes State-wise; and
(d) the number of youths who have been providedemployment after acquiring vocational education?
(a) & (b): Ministry of Tribal Affairs is not running any specific training programmeto connect tribal youths to vocational education. However, under the scheme of ‘Special Central Assistance to Tribal Sub-Scheme (SCA to TSS) and Grants under Article 275(1) of the Constitution, financial assistance is provided to State Governmentswith notified STs, including Assam and North Eastern Statesfor tribal development including Skill Development / Vocational Training activities.The State of Haryana is not covered under these scheme for not having notified STs. The State-wisedetails of the funds allocated for Skill Development/ Vocational Training activities in theseScheme / Grants during last three years and current year is at Annexure.
(c) & (d): The details regarding number of tribal youths who have acquiredvocational education and number of youths who have been providedemployment after acquiring vocational education is not centrally maintained.
