Question : MINIMUM AGE FOR ADMISSION IN SCHOOLS

(a) whether the Government plans to fix 4 years minimum age for admission in nursery to reduce stress on children ;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) the time by which the same is likely to be implemented;

(d) whether the Government also plans to ban play schools or pre-nursery schools, and

(e) if so, the details thereof and reasons therefor ?

(a) to (c) There is no such proposal with the Central Government at present. However, it is for the concerned State Governments to take appropriate decision in the matter.
