THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT (SHRI BABUL SUPRIYO)

(a) &(b): Delhi Development Authority (DDA) had 136 schemes for construction of SFS houses consisting of 31,013 houses as given in Annexure-A. These houses are constructed in different pockets of the city including Dwarka, Rajouri Garden, Pashcim Vihar, Rohini, Gazipur, Sarita Vihar, Shalimar Bagh and Vasant Kunj.

(c) & (d) : As per terms and conditions of the allocation/allotment of Self Finance Scheme (SFS) flats, the allottees are required to make payment within the stipulated time frame indicated in the demand-cum-allotment letter. However, in case there is any delay in making payment of demanded amount, the delay period is regularized subject to payment of restoration charges and other usual charges, by the competent authority considering the merits of the case. As per DDA no such data/information regarding allotments restored after charging fine, interest etc. is maintained by them.

(e): Of the total number of SFS flats constructed, 371 category-II SFS houses and 50 category-III houses are lying vacant presently as in Annexure-A.

(f) : DDA reserves the flats for SC/ST and other categories strictly as per prescribed reservation policy. Upto 1992, 1600 flats were allocated to SC & ST (combined) applicants and thereafter, upto 1996, 650 SC & 409 ST applicants were allocated flats under SFS category. SFS schemes were discontinued after 1996.
