(a) whether the Government propose to introduce helicopter srvices for connecting certain places and city centres in Delhi and Mumbai;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the steps taken to evolve a regulatory framework for chopper operations in the country?

(a) and (b):- At present, Pawan Hans Helicopters Limited (PHHL), a Public Sector Undertaking under the Government of India, has a plan to introduce helicopter services between Sahar Airport to City Centre near Nariman Point in Mumbai.
(c):- Regulatory framework in the form of Civil Aviation Requirements for maintenance and operations of commercial as well as general aviation helicopters already exists.
