(a) whether the Government has received any proposal regarding review of policy for the
issuing of driving licences (for two/three/four wheelers) to the differently abled persons;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the reaction of the Government thereto?

(a) to (c) In order to bring relief to persons with disabilities, the Government has
introduced the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill, 2012, which has since been passed by the
Rajya Sabha on 8th May, 2012.
