(a) the details of Krishi Kalyan Cess (KKC) accrued by the Government along with the amount of cess utilised as on date, head-wise; and
(b) the amount of KKC that remain unutilised by the respective designated Departments/Agencies along with the reasons for its non-utilisation?

(a): Krishi Kalyan Cess (KKC) was introduced in Budget 2016-17. An amount of Rs. 9,000 crore in RE 2016-17 and Rs.10, 800 crore in BE 2017-18 was estimated as collection from this cess receipts. Krishi Kalyan Cess has been subsumed under GST. w.e.f 1st July, 2017.
The proceeds have been fully deployed towards meeting expenditure on (i) Interest Subsidy for short term credit to farmers and (ii) Pradhan Mantri Krishi Fasal Bima Yojna.
(b): Does not arise in view of reply at part (a).
