(SHRI HARIBHAI PARATHIBHAI CHAUDHARY
(a): The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC) which is the nodal agency for implementing the National Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe Hub has organized 38 Special Vendor Development Programmes (SVDP) at a total expenditure of Rs. 26.16 lakh and 7 awareness programmes involving total expenditure of Rs. 2.19 lakh under this scheme. In addition, interaction meetings involving expenditure of Rs. 1.5 lakh per event were organized by NSIC at four clusters of SC/ST enterprises.
(b): Under National SC/ST Hub scheme, NSIC has been organizing /conducting Special Vendor Development Programmes, workshops/seminar/awareness programs and meetings, through its field offices in coordination with Industry Associations like Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DICCI), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Indian Chamber of Commerce of Affirmative Action ( ICCAA) etc. Such events are organized as per guidelines of Special Marketing Assistance Scheme (MAS) being implemented by NSIC through its field offices.
(c): No conference has been organized involving any tribal agency. However, NSIC has been organizing Special Vendor Development Programs, workshops/seminar/ awareness programs and meetings in states having large tribal population like Maghalaya, Tripura, Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
