Question : Completion of Infrastructure Projects based on PPP mode

(a) whether the Government proposes to create a policy framework for early completion of infrastructure projects based on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode;

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the names of projects which got delayed during the last two years and the time-limit prescribed to complete the said projects along with the State/District –wise details thereof?

(a) & (b): A Task Force was constituted with the objective of effective delivery of projects including those based on Public Private Partnership mode within time and budget for Central / State Government and Public- Sector Enterprises.

The Task Force has recommended various reforms in project and program management to complete and deliver complex projects with quality, and within time and budget in its report.

(c): As on 01.05.2019, a total of 65 ongoing projects under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode were on the monitor of this Ministry, of which 37 were delayed. The details of these Projects are available in the flash report at www.cspm.gov.in/publications.
