(a) whether the Government proposes to set up a world class Football Academy in the country;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government proposes to start a football tournament in the name of former Union Minister Priyaranjan Das Munshi; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b): Four Regional Football Academies under Sports Authority of India are already operational at Delhi, Kolkata, Imphal and Thiruvananthapuram. The academies have been established with world class facilities.
(c) & (d): No Madam, there is no such proposal at present.
