Question : Tenth Class Exams

(a) whether it is true that many State Governments have sought a breather of two years from Central Board of Secondary Education for making class X examination mandatory;

(b) if so the details thereof;

(c) whether it is also true that the request of the State Governments in this regard has been in active consideration with the CBSE; and

(d) if so the details thereof?

(a) and (b) : All State Governments have welcomed the decision of CBSE for restoration of class 10th Board Examination from the Academic Session 2017-18 except Government of National Capital of Territory (NCT) of Delhi.

(c) and (d) : Do not arise.
