Question : Implementation of Atmanirbhar Bharat Initiatives

(a) whether the Government is pushing for expeditious implementation of Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives (ABN) announced in the financial year 2020- 21;
(b) if so, the number of such initiatives which have got approvals of the Government as schemes/ programmes and date of their respective notifications for implementation;
(c) whether the Government has announced or proposed to announce any additional schemes during the financial year 2021-22 under ABN; and
(d) if so, the details of subject-wise ABN schemes/ programmes and their physical and financial achievements so far?

(a) & (b): The Government regularly reviews the progress of implementation of the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives (ABN) announced in the financial year 2020- 21. A Statement indicating details of schemes/programmes approved by the Government, including date of notification/orders, wherever applicable is at Annexure.

(c) & (d): The Government announces various schemes/programmes from time to time after taking a holistic view of the requirements of the economy. A COVID Relief Package of Rs. 6,28,993 crores has been announced on 28th June 2021 to support Indian economy in fight against COVID-19 pandemic. The schemes announced under the package are separate schemes and not a part of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Packages announced in the year 2020-21. The package has been announced recently on 28.06.2021 and physical and financial progress would be visible in due course.
