(a) whether the Ahmedabad-London direct flight has been discontinued since long;
(b) if so, the reasons therefor;
(c) whether the Governemnt proposes to resume the operation of the said flight;and
(d) if so, the time by which it is likely to be resumed?

(a) and (b): Yes, Madam. As part of its route rationalisation plan to contain losses, Air India was
constrained to withdraw the non-stop Ahmedabad-London services while maintaining the link with a
stop at Mumbai.
(c) and (d): Not for the time being.
