(a) whether the Government organises any exhibitions in the country and abroad to give
exposure to traditional and artistic work done by various tribes of the country; and
(b) if so, the details threreof indicating the number of such exhibitions organized during
each of the last three years and the current year, State/UT-wise and country-wise?

(a): Yes Madam. Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Limited
(TRIFED) a Multi-State Cooperative Society which works under the administrative control of
Ministry of Tribal Affairs has been organizing exhibitions in the country to promote tribal
art and craft. TRIFED also participates in International Exhibitions to promote tribal art
and craft in the international markets.
(b): A statement showing state-wise number of exhibitions organized during the last three
years is at Annex I.
