In addition, Bunkar Mitra – Helpline for handloom weavers has been started for addressing the queries/grievances of handloom weavers. In the month of January total 2677 queries were received and all have been addressed with necessary assistance of the Weavers’ Service Centres. The state wise queries received are at Annexure-I.

(c): Weavers’ Service Centres are facilitating handloom weavers in selling their products through various e-commerce entities. In addition, to provide direct market access facility to handloom weavers, a direct marketing portal “www.indiahandmadebazaar.com” has been launched in which weavers can upload details of their products, prices, and photographs etc. themselves. The buyer can view the products and also send a query to concerned weaver through this portal.
