Social And Cultural Activities
Vice-Chairman of D.K.S. Charitable Institute Trust, which has been actively working for providing pure drinking water in all water scarcity villages in the region. More than 50 water treatment plants have already been erected through which water is being supplied at 10 paise per 1 litre. The trust is also identifying eligible beneficiaries for various social welfare schemes initiated by State and Central Governments. The trust is also involved in encouraging and imparting education among the rural areas. Meritorious students are being honoured with cash rewards.
