Produced more than 100 films in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Bengali languages in a span of 37 years, since 1963 to 2000; brought some of the best Telugu movies on to celluliod such as `Premnagar`, Jeevana Tarangalu`, `Secretary`, `Chakravakam`, Asuk (Bengali) etc; established the sprawling Ramanaidu Studio with State-of-the-art facilities and equipments such as re-recording theatre, dubbing theatre, preview theatre, editing studio and also a new audio, video studio with computerised video film making, processing, recording and non-linear editing facility and also rural backdrop, courthall, police station, hospital, highway, rural houses etc.; set up Nanakramguda Studio with ultramodern bungalows; maintains a distribution network with offices all over Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai, Chennai, etc.; introduced scores of artists, directors, musicians, technicians, etc.; often taking a risk of crores of rupees.
Social And Cultural Activities
Built a Kalyana Mandapam at Karamchedu and a Kalamandapam at Hyderabad; set up Ramanaidu Charitable Trust; donated 10 acres of prime land worth 30 to 40 lakh rupees for establishing an old age home and spent a few million rupees for facilities and comfort of the inmates; earmarked five acres of land for an orphange to be set up with modern medical facilities; donated one million rupees to Andhra Cultural Association, Madras and one million rupees for construction of a modern building to house the A.P. Film Chamber of Commerce; mobilised 1500 life memberships of exhibitors of Cinema to create a financial base for Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce, thereby generating a fund of two and half million rupees; instituted Ramanaidu Award, which is given every year to the best director fo Kannada moves; conferrred honorary Doctorate by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi, for his outstanding contribution to the development of film industry; in addition, donated proclainer worth 30 lakhs for common use in the Bapatla Parliamentary Constituency, 70 lakhs to Karamchedu village panchayat for widening and developing of roads and renovations/digging of drinking water tanks under JANMA BHUMI works and 30 lakhs for construction of eye hospitals
