Worked for the poor and backward people of Chotila, Sayla and Muli areas in Surendranagar to get them ownership rights on land from zamindars; initiated developmental works in six villages viz., Shantinagar, Umapar, Amrapur, Navimadrhsar, Bhimora and Ganganagar; rehabilitated poor and downtrodden people in Dhajala Village and transformed it into an Adarsh (model) village; opened as many as 20 educational institutions in Sayla, Chotila, Wadhwan, Jasdan and other backard areas where thousands of poor children and adults were educated; Life Member, Sarvodaya Yojana, Gujarat; as President of Taluka Panchayat got dug many small, medium and big tanks (talabs) and Check Dams; completed many small and big irrigation projects including Check Dams and Anushravan Talabs
