Pioneered the manufacture of the world`s longest rail (121 meters long); installed beam blank caster and H-beam (Universal) rolling mill first time in India for providing large sized parallel of large beams; manufacture of widest plates in the form of coils and established the country`s first eco-friendly Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) plant
 
Social And Cultural Activities
Single handed fought for the dignified display of the National-Flag as a symbol of honour and pride including display of the tri-colour on clothes; Zealous about ushering honesty into public life and eradicating corruption, unemployment and poverty; worked for the ban of smoking in the Central Hall of Parliament House; worked for the development of Kurukshetra and for the development of sports in the country; Instrumental (i) in getting permission for flying the National flags on monumental flagpoles over 100 ft high during night hours too; and (ii) amending Rule 349 (XIV) of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in Lok Sabha allowing Hon. Members to wear the National Flag in the form of lapel pin/badge.
