Vice-President of India, Mohammad Hamid Ansari has greeted the people of our country, especially the people of Kerala, on the joyous occasion of Onam.
In his Onam greetings, the Vice-President said “Onam is celebrated with traditional gaiety and enthusiasm. The mood of rejoicing is vividly captured in the rituals and festivities associated with the festival, transcending all barriers and uniting us in a common brotherhood”.
Vice-President hoped that this festival would foster unity, harmony and prosperity in the lives of all Indians.
