Vice President Mohd. Hamid Ansari has strongly condemned and expressed shock at the serial blasts that occurred this evening in Ahmedabad, killing and injuring innocent civilians.
He said that such acts of terrorism intended to disturb peace and harmony in the country should be thwarted. He appealed to all sections to maintain calm and expressed his sympathy for the families of those killed and injured in the explosions.
