The Ministry of Rural Development has released Rs. 42.88 crore as part payment of first instalment of central assistance for World Bank Assisted projects under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) to the Uttar Pradesh Gramin Sadak Vikas Abhikaran, Lucknow, which is the autonomous agency for receiving funds under the programme in the State.
The grant is towards the Plan expenditure and will be subject to the conditions laid down from time to time in the guidelines of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and supplementary directions.
