The Minister for Civil Aviation, Shri Praful Patel alongwith the senior officers of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Airports Authority of India
(AAI) held a meeting with the representatives of AAI Employees Union here today.
A number of issues including the closure of Bangalore & Hyderabad Airports raised by the Union representatives were discussed. It has been decided that the Ministry will look into these matters in detail and another round of discussion will be held with the Union representatives in the near future.
Meanwhile, the Union representatives have agreed to defer their strike which was to begin tomorrow.
